My former room-mate's son-in-law was/is a sniper with a stryker brigade from JBLM here, and is currently in the Nat'l Guard. He has completed four tours of duty in "the sandbox" before leaving the army and going into the guard. He lives in the Spokane area, so when he comes back to Centralia, WA for his monthly guard duty, I let him bunk at my place so he doesn't have to sleep in the barracks or spend his guard money on a motel room.
He is very anxious to see this movie and see how much Hollywood has exercised their "artistic license" to make the production.
I'll be getting a first-hand critique as soon as he gets a chance to see it. It'll be very interesting to hear from him how accurate it is.
