And what are his faults? I don't know too much about these, so lets "air it" so to speak!
 
Watched the movie today. Great portrayal of what he went through and how he coped with his issues.

That's ok. I'll stick to my first impression.......He's a total bad ***, a hero! So to whomever doesn't like the guy really should shut the F up, cause this guy or others like him, just may have saved your *** from being sent home in a flag draped coffin!!!

Snipers are a target for snipers for the enemy. They certainly are in danger . alone except for maybe a spotter. I would like to see scumbag Murphy in that kind of danger-- then who would be the coward?....................MO
 
We all have faults just ask my wife. I saw the movie yesterday afternoon. Tough story but, well done. Clint will have some interesting things to say at the Oscars i'm sure.

I'm not denying that he was a "bad ***". He was very good at his job and should be commended for that, as I'm sure he saved many lives. Not many people could do what snipers do.

It seems to me that most of the issues are arising not from his career in the military, but from what he claims to have done after.


Unlike you though, I don't plan on standing by my first impression. I will read the book, see the movie, read other opinions & then base my opinion on as many facts as possible. That's the least we owe Chris Kyle the man.
 
I really don't care what he did after his military career as some might. I had a sniper save 4 of us from a threat we could not see, so those guys get/have my upmost respect!!!!
