ive got an opportunity to buy a rare car i think anyhow .... 1970 charger rt , 440 /auto ,8.75 suregrip, door scoops , hood pins , buckets(69 style w/ headrests) , console ,a/c , p/s , p/b , little rust really solid & has fender tag , here is the neat part though its an original fm3 car (pink) , i can get it for $4000 , i think thats a pretty fair price , ill have pics up next weekend , opinions ?

climb under it..look at floorboards and frame rails particularly the rear. If framerails are solid id jump on it. All the outer sheetmetal is replaceable, hell even the framerails can be replaced but then you are talking about serious $$$. Sounds too good to be true so double check everything...sounds like you got a great deal going!

I just bought a station wagon on ebay that looked good. Got it home and im peeling away the gobs of bondo to find tons of rust and body damage. I can't get replacement sheetmetal for a station wagon.. (

where would i look for the corresponding vin #s on the body ? core support , trunk ? the dash vin & fender tag match but i just want to make sure .

Vin nuimbers are on the radiator support and I think on the rear quarter by the trunk seal.

he also has a v code 70 r/r , body is rough , has new 6 pack setup , air grabber hood , 2 new year one rear quarters , currently 383 in car , 440 long gone , car is a sedan , buckets , console (auto) , limelite w/ black int . im gonna post it for him on here soon after i pick the charger up , he is asking

oldcarnut i really don't know myself about the pillar trim but that looks like a good project car you have. That floor looks like its in decent shape, that particular area under pedals is usually where there the worse wet shows and boots ya know. Good luck with it!
