While researching the family tree I came across a headline in the San Francisco Chronicle newspaper announcing the marriage of a distant relative of mine back on New Year's Eve 1920. Up until now, I had never heard the term "benedick" before. I guess I was one too some 35 years ago (sounds very close to the unrelated term Benedict Arnold).
