Hi Guys:
Found a car close to home that I'm really interested in, and it seems very affordable.
I like it:
1) 440 automatic
2) Disc brake conversion
3) Factory AC car
4) new trunk pan
I don't like:
1) Color
2) Exhaust
3) The need for further rust repairs
It meets my budget criteria, and I'll have money to spend for repairs. Here are the links:

Phone dialog has been spotty with the seller. Can't get any underbody pics.

If some member in Albuquerque knows the car, or can check it out I'd be grateful!

Otherwise, I can't get down there to see this car until 5 November.

I welcome any comments. Take care, Bill

Never mind. The car has been sold (to a buyer in Sweden).

YES, but the seller claims he is in dialog with a Swedish buyer.
Lots of rail rot in the back, so I'm moving on anyway.

It had rust in the lower quarters, so I replaced them. The body is not perfect; there are minor dings from what I think was hail damage while at the body shop waiting to be painted. It was painted in May of 2014, it looks blue in pictures, but the paint code is dark metallic turquoise. There is an area in each rear inner fender well that needs to be cut or ground out and a patch welded over

trunk pan installed without fixing the inner wheelhouses makes zero sense........ painting over hail dents also makes zero sense

I'd say this car is full of amateur/faulty workmanship, the paint probably looks like crap and the rust will be creeping out in no time...... I'd run for the hills

finding a decent, finished car is like a needle in a haystack, this is why most of us build our own or pay top dollar........

painted cars wind up being the biggest projects

The seller has had some frustrations and is ready to dump the car. he got 200 miles out of the first rebuild and spun a bearing. Bought a used crank and redid the bottom end (again).
Yes, it is full of 'amateur' work, and is a driveable project status car.
I was thinking at 9K it would be a good project for me.

BTW I have to compliment the seller. He has been very honest and is hiding nothing!

Thanks, but I am looking for 1968, or 1969. You are correct, I have been lowering the criteria as there seems to be more to choose from in the bottom price ranges. Either that, or I have been watching way too much Roadkill..........

be patient....... a 68/69 will come along much like that 67........ not my cup of tea either, but Id have to consider it......... drive it for a bit, then flip or trade........ good luck in your search
