Bad memory,which one goes out / inside ?

Hi, six years since the old Side-Glass Weatherstripping was removed and scraped.Can't remember which one goes to the inside / outside.
I think it would be a P.I.T.A to get them off, if mounted wrong way.

I think the hard plastic goes outside and the soft goes inside.

The "U" shaped piece of felt/rubber goes on the outside. The furry piece goes on the inside.

I think the outside has clips and the inside has staples. I understand that the insides may need to be rivited when replaced.

No, both types have exact same clips. They are repros so maybe the orginals where different.
The oblong holes for mounting are similar in & outside. Car is 66-Belv. 4-door sedan if that matters. Thanks anyway.

67GTX440 is referring to a two door car in which case he would be correct.
