Ok, Rosa Poncelle (sp), oh, but that's opera. For rock- doro pesch from warlock, I mean come on, she was in a band with a mopar name, lol.

You are absolutely right. I don't look so good now as compared to then, but I listen to this music I am instantly transported back to then.

Me neither brother but in my mind I'm 20 years old most of the time, especially when that music helps me get back there

"The Carpenters" can't say that I like them but man does that bring back memories "my parents love them". I'll likely always know all the words to ticket to ride and close to you (sorry if that's not the names) must have heard them a million times. Oddly enough when I hear them now they bring back good memories of my parents "see I'm smiling now". Here's my favorite female singer, she rocks although this is one of they're slower songs "Evenesence"

I like some for the "song" some for the "look" my overall pick......... TINA TURNER! Was still rockin' in her 70's!!

Ann Wilson for me and one most of you never heard of Judith Durham. She sang with The Seekers and I think is pretty good.

Hard to believe Karen wouldn't have made the top 100.

Chrissy Amphlett was always a personal favorite:

I would rank Karen as having the best voice and Linda Rondstat as being able to really belt them out . I don't know how many of you will remember Brenda Lee, but her smoky, sometimes sultry voice can sure do something to ya.

Best voice would have to go to Christina Aguilera. She has an incredible range just watch the movie Burlesque.

Amy Lee is a great singer and cute in an emo sort of way.
