Chrysler's ATF +3 isn't made anymore now it's ATF +4... They have synthetic, but I wouldn't recommend it, found a regular, non-synthetic +4 at autozone, get that. It will be at any dealership too if you have one close by
I wouldn't use type F to lube the hinges on my door! A lot of old racers used it and it is recommended in the old MoPar books, but that's for racing. The reason it's recommended for racing is because it has a higher friction coefficient and grabs better, which if some logic is followed, it doesn't lubricate as well. I would use Dextron in a street driven car, or I did recently get some SWEPCO 714 ATF but haven't tried it yet. My rep says he has a drag racer customer that runs the 30 WT and it works very well under the 800 or so HP the car makes. The SWEPCO stuff is designed to be used in the big heavy duty trannies like Allison and ZF.
I really like anything "Torco Racing Oils" makes for all of my race or higher performance cars, they have a great anti foaming agent & higher heat resistance/flash temperatures for cars with high stall speeds especially on the street {check it out on their web site} & Royal purple "Chrysler type 4" synthetic in my 99 Dakota 4x4 had great luck with both, used Red line products quite awhile back...
