Best sealant?

I used ultra black on mine with great results, zero leaks. I offset my rms by about 1/4" and it worked out perfect.

Another area where that came in handy was after chasing a Federal style power steering pump leak for well over 20 years I decided to eliminate the large pump to reservoir o ring and fill the groove with plenty of UB, reassemble, let dry 24 hrs, trim off excess and repaint. Doesn't leak a drop.
