Black or White Top?

Thanks for all the pics & input guys. I suppose I could get the car done then decide later on the top. Or I may even decide to just leave the top painted. As for keeping the white stuff clean I understand it will be very hard to keep it clean. If it was going to be a daily driver I would not even think of doing any part of the car white. But since I intend on just occassionally taking it on a weekend trip or to cruises I think it wont be too bothersome to clean it. When its not being driven I can just keep it covered in the garage. I guess Im overthinking stuff too much & confussing myself.

I think Pink and alot of Black would look really HOT. 1 of a kind IMO.

Hey Elk I hate to tell you this but one of your post Ive read is partly to blame for me being confussed. I saw the copper colors that were posted when you asked for help in picking a color for your car. The copper & black top on that 1 Charger in the post got me thinkin really hard about my decision to stay with Panther Pink. I have went back time after time checking out that Charger pic. Love it. Have you thought of going with the burnt orange interior on yours?

To me white stripes, white top and either white or black interior. With black stripes the top should be black as well as the interior. My wife is having the same problem deciding on stripes, top and interior colors for her car.

I am going with a black int. for sure. I have already sold all the green stuff and replaced with black. It seems that black interiors are a lot easier to find repops/replacements for. I do think the burnt orange on the 70 models looks kinda cool though. Not to late to change your mind - why don't you hurry up and paint your car the coppersunset so I can see what it turns out like. lol

I'd vote white for all three. My second choice would be to chuck the vinyl top and do the body all in panther pink, still the white stripes, and white interior. I'm chucking the black vinyl top for my 68 Charger (GG1 Green) but adding the white stripes.
