What is the part OEM part number for a Purple Shaft cam and kit for 1970 440 HP 6 PACK application? This is what I have found. Is it correct. Part number P4452783.

Yes, factory replacement for the 6 pack. The 375 hp 4 bbl & 6 pack cams had identical lift & duration, the lobe taper & lifter radius was different on the 6 pack cam.
The 115 LSA is not ideal & there are better cams now available.

Nobody is going to be able to look inside the engine and deduct points for not original cam. Lunati 703 voodoo is probably a step or 2 above factory, and gives plenty of vacuum for brakes if you need it, great city manners, good performance, and a nice hot rod sound. I just installed one and cant be happier with it

The P4452783 is the 4bbl cam. 1 bolt timing gear.

P4529270 has the same exact specs, but uses a 3 bolt timing gear…….like the factory did with a 6bbl.
