So my winter project noted here continues:
Winter off season project engine compartment “clean up” and engine repaint.
Tomorrow I plan on swapping out my solid motor mounts for a pair of DynaTech Mighty Mounts. All accessories are off the engine and the only thing in the way still that may interfere is the ps box, although doubtful. Since it’s been 25+ yrs since I’ve had the engine out of the car I’m just looking for a few pointers to make the motor mount swap. I guess I’ll disconnect the tranny from the mount, or mount from chassis, and jack the engine from the pan. Sound about right? Does it matter which side I r&r first? Thanks as always guys.
