I was pleasantly surprised to find that CJMP is still in business (since 1975, come to find out).
Found them on eBay, where I just snagged a old (yet new in box) USA pair of rear wheel cylinders from them.
I can remember doing business with them back in the early 80's!

So...what stories does anyone have of dealing with those folks?

I used to do business with Jack years ago, then Jimmy afterwards, when I was more heavily into doing resto work. Good guys, good people. Jimmy stopped going to shows awhile ago when he moved out of his howell location.

Back in the 80's Jack was the East coast guy that had everything Mopar. I bought so much from him because he had ties to everyone Mopar. I bought a forged 6 pak 440 crank, a NOS 71 Cuda fender and numerous other engine parts. He was selling NOS 70 & 71 clocks for the Rally dash. I guess as the Mopar parts were drying up Jack knew he had to be more diverse to survive.

I too was surprised they are still in business. I bought a NOS horn button from them last year.
Like others have said I bought from these guys back in the pre internet days of the 1990s.

Wait - Jack's is another one I dealt with a lot in the early 80's.
Are they still around and are they associated with CJMP somehow?

Jimmy took over Jack's auto parts, Jack formed CJMP.

Jack's Auto Parts was strickly Mopar. He sponsored the Mopar meets at Englishtown that went downhill after the first one thanks to the IRS hitting all the vendors. Most of the big vendors never returned. And now Englishtown is a thing of the past, greed was the knife in the back of that raceway. Jimmy was Jack's brother and continued the Mopar parts for quite a while.

I attended Englishtown one of those first years (might have even been the first one?) and it was one hell of
an event, especially for this young fella who'd never attended something of that magnitude.
In those days for me, it was all about another opportunity for a good time and to chase "pahhhhts" (as our New England
friends called them); with next to zero aftermarket/repopping going on in those days, it was all swap meets and
NOS stuff if you were a Mopar guy.
When the vendors stopped attending, so did I....but I still remember to this day meeting Jack in person.
As busy a guy as he was in those days, he took the time to stop and chat with me and shake my hand and
that moment stuck with me all these years.

Yes Jack was a real good guy to deal with and his Brother Jimmy who carried on the Mopar end of the business was also very good to deal with.
