Cheap way and most of this covered. Radiator cap , I run my RR 1 inch below toip, no problems.
Take it to a reputable shop with current flush machine. Had my RR done @ a new Firestone in Florida. Did a great job. Never had and still don't have an overheating problem. Run it in 95*+ @ 180*.
If there is air the flush will remove it. Machines run 35 lbs pressure. About $140.00.

Yes, it was a bad rad cap. I ordered a Moroso expansion tank and thinking about adding a coolant recovery tank. I found this on Amazon. What do you think ???

If you leave the coolant 1" below the base of the fill neck, you don't need expansion or recovery tank. I run 610hp 496" engine in 125 degree weather with no boil over, Ever. At idle w a/c on for over 10 minutes after long drive and engine will get 222° and no boil over/puking.
