Looking for inspiration, let's see those custom dashes and consoles! Thanks!
Autometer with carbon fiber dash panel. I'll grab couple better pics of entire dash later.. This one isn't a great pic Couple more: better light
I made this console from 1x6 pine, 2 cupholders and a storage bin. wrapped It in any extra front seat back cover i had from legendary to match the seats. It makes trips more enjoyable instead of having things slide around on the bench seat !
2006 Audi A6 Quattro Allroad interior including complete dash and console.... in a 1967 Coronet 500.
! Now that is absolutely beautiful !! Custom and tasteful.
Appreciate it. I really didn't want to stray far enough that I lost that classic feel and look.
Wow that is really clean
Thanks! it will be cleaner once the wiring is done and the carpet goes in. Long way to go yet. Now, if I could just figure out how to get those Audi rings off of the steering wheel air bag cover.....
I would take the airbag cover to a upholstery shop and just have them wrap it just a thought
Thanks. I have removed the assembly from the wheel but the cover is fastened with aluminum rivets. I would just recover it myself if I had a way to fasten the cover back on to the whole assembly.
Ya that would be a pain what about making a aluminum dished cap for the center paint it or polish it im sure you already have a thousand ideas lol
Ha! I had not thought of that one. I did contemplate using filler to fill in the rings and feather it out over the cap and paint it with flexible vinyl paint. I kinda want to place a 2017 Durango Dodge air bag cover emblem there.
That would look very cool
I was just out out the wrecking yard looking at Chrysler 300 gauge clusters now you got me thinking about changing out the entire dash lol
Sorry! I took a tape measure out to several salvage yards and had the measurement of the Coronet dash area in hand. I must have looked at 400 cars before I found one that was the right size and that I liked. It worked out perfectly. The only minor issues will be that the bucket seats will mount to the floors about 4 inches rearward from stock because the Audi dash is deep and the mesh together of the Audi wiring harness and brain to the rest of the harnesses .
OP sorry about hijacking the thread.
Lol oops i started the hijacking my apologies to
