Hello! Just wanted to share a a project im working on.

Im making a custom dash tachometer for my 1969 roadrunner. The problem for me was that its really hard to find the tach in sweden and those who sells them here are really expensive.

Im 3d printing the parts bit still working on it and will update as soon its done

Do you own the 3D printer? They appear to be very useful.

Yes i have a Bambulab printer. They are really useful for us who owns classic cars or want to make custom stuff but the hardest thing for me atleast is learning CAD.

FWIW, I think digital tachs are a nuisance - since rpm is always fluctuating, the constantly changing numbers are very distracting and annoying. Give me a good ol' analog tach any day! However, good luck with your project.

Well the good thing is that i made it so you can use an analog also, just need to change the diameter of the hole to make room for the needle movement,

Update:
Printed out everything and tested the fitment, everything looks good.
Will print the final piece in a material for automotive use and in black to make it blend better.

Update:
Just printed the the final piece in black ASA that manages temperatures better.
I will stick with the digital tach since i liked how i looked.
