For decades I was "spoiled" by the neck on my '86 Charvel.
It's right in between a Gibson and Fender- no others like it.
In fact, after about 6 month of plying it, it was difficult for me to play anything else.
...until I played that Schecter. It's almost exactly the same profile, and it was very natural.
The Schecter's also got that Floyd, that actually does stay in tune, unlike the Khaler on my Charvel.
If my Charvel wasn't the lowest serial number on record, I'd fit a Floyd on it.
I don't use the bar that much, but when I do I want it to stay in tune.
M Schenker is currently touring with the Dean Guitars house band.
They also have Dean V guitars in black/white.
I just don't like the feel of a Dean neck, and I'm not crazy about the headstock shape.
I don't care for the Ibanez neck profile either, but I know a lot of folks do.
There is a Hammer "Slammer" with a Floyd Rose at another pawn shop for $145.....
