Was watching an episode of Nick's Garage;
Charger 500 Dashboard Installed and saw a nice tip about Chrysler using a hook back in the day to hold the dashboard.

With the two outer anchor bolts loosley installed you place the built up dashframe in them and secure the top with the hook. This gives you a gap between the dash and firewall so you can attach, cables, wires, etc.

May give this a try when I put in my dash.

That's a good idea. I just installed my dash and used a section of 4x4 with some foam to hold the dash up while I hooked things up. This would have been easier with less chance of knocking over the 4x4 and splash goes the dash.

Great idea! saw it somewhere before and will be doing it when I "set" my dash in. Thanks for
reminding me!

I thought this was a well known thing.
