Even flat stock shaped properly with holes for screws in it would work.

Yes , has to be sheet stock, as that is easier to form, also a goose neck die would help on forming the last leg of the channel. as the channel is only 7/16" od with 1/8" od legs and about 50 " long for the hood seal pc. But I think it could be 1/2" and still work. But if u don't have that equipment u could use a pc of 1/2" by 1/2" by .050 steel tubing. Cut it in half machine it or sand it down. any other idea's?
