Distributor Advice needed for 505 RB with Victor Cyl Heads

Hello,will I need a special distributor when running Victor cyl heads ??? I noticed on FLEA BAY there are differences in length on various models etc .

I know you cannot run the igniter 3 with aluminum heads per Don at foursecondsflat.com. I recommend talking to him about your needs. Super nice guy and he has the ability to curve your distributor to your exact engine set up (needs static compression and cam shaft specs). Good luck.

small blocks, low deck big block, and raised deck big block all have different length shafts. distributor housings and guts are basically the same. small blocks and all big blocks have a different rotation.

You are likely just down to how the body fits with those heads (clearance issue). The Firecore is very similar in size to the OEM unit so you might try that.
