Do YOU go 3 or more days between showers ???

Funny how easily it is to get folks to share details of their personal hygiene with strangers on the internet.
My lengthy reply left out my details, let it remain a mystery!
Or not:
I'll say I am not a morning person and the idea of getting all wet in the morning does not appeal to me, but I did it when I still had an office job. Now that I am WFH its a before bed thing for me. If I will be going out to hang with family/friends then its a shower right before that and clean clothes out of the dryer, I'm paranoid since I'm always taking care of cats and it might not even be the gross thing you think of, there have been times while feeding them I don't realize cat food gravy squirted my shirt and its only later that I wonder where the salmon smell is coming from.

I've worked around alcoholics that seem to just ooooze a specific smell. They could have put on new clothes that morning and not had a single drop of booze that day and still smell like alcohol. I had Uncles that were heavy drinkers, once I got older I referred to them as my drunkles. They always reeked of booze, even after swimming in the family pool.
It made me wonder if I smelled like Mountain Dew since I used to drink a LOT of that stuff.

This friend of mine mentioned this 72 hour deodorant a couple of months ago. I didn't notice the ads for it until he mentioned it and since then, it seems like other brands have been introduced.
It is great if people are aware of their stink and do something to reduce it but.....Since I have always been a curious dude that always wonders why, how, when and who, it got me wondering if others around me knew of people that used this stuff instead of just showering.

We're hoping that anyone who doesn't shower regularly will read this and perhaps be guilted into changing their ways....

That happened in Basic Training. Fort Sill, Oklahoma 1984. There were two "country boys" that were somewhat resistant to showering. Verbal encouragement wasn't enough to sway them. A few guys dragged one of them into the showers fully clothed and stood guard at the edge, not leaving until he stripped down and cleaned up. It was barbaric but back then, the military had not adopted many of the touchy-feely policies. I don't recall if the other stinky guy got the message and started showering on the regular but I hope so for his sake.

Yes... the smokers and drinkers ooze a certain stench about them, all the time.

Smokers....I grew up around them. Most of us did.
Both parents and my 3 siblings smoked. Uncles, Aunts, the only ones that didn't at our family gatherings were the kids and Grandma.
Grandma lived to be 93.
I'd get home from a family gathering and stink of cigarette smoke.
I have car parts here that I got from an old timer that smoked a pipe. The parts somehow smell of pipe tobacco. The boxes the parts are in were from him and they smell of it too. I don't mind the tobacco smell though. I also don't mind a bit of booze smell on some people either. It reminds me of family members that are long gone.
Body odor is another matter though!

I've been seeing commercials a lot lately for "all body deodorants", showing guys spraying into their crotches, down their butt cracks, etc. I personally think it's a ridiculous scam by these deodorant companies, re-marketing their products for "all body use" so that the consumer ends up just buying and using more of their product to spray everywhere on their body.
