many are contingency stickers
you get paid for every sponsored product
(with approved/matching contingency sticker)
& associated "approved" NHRA of sanctioning body
contingency sticker on the car, for more/better payout
In many bigger races, division points & national events
they will even hand them out at the gate
even a package sometimes for specific classes
or go to the tower/office & get them,
can make a huge difference in payouts/round/prize $$$
so yes
if they are contingency product/sponsored event stickers
back in the 70's (other eras too)
it was normal for the Ricky-racers to all sticker up cars
On my street cars, I prefer'd the stealth approach,
no or very few stickers
'make them guess' don't show them what you have
