Door weatherstrip and post seal

Once the door weatherstrip is in place does the door end seal overlap the long weatherstrip or does it get trimmed to but up to each other?

It goes over top of the door seal

Yes, over the top.
On the front seal, they used strip-caulk or something similar under it.
