I just bought the correct mirrior for my 73 Roadrunner. I bolted it on tonight and it looks great compared to the E body mirrior that the previous owner put on it.

Can someone explain the correct routing of the remote cables? I did not have an example because the old wires were just hanging. There are push in style plastic ties on the cables. It looks like they should plug in somewhere. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

I can see a hole in the front of the door where it meets the jamb (About center). Maybe this is the correct spot to push in the wire tie?

Assuming your 73’ is similar to my 72’, you should have a small hole in the forward inside door jam for the first clip to snap into and another hole in the inner door shell, about two inches forward of the control mounting for the second cable clip. From the control, the cables take a sharp turn forward and route around the front of the window travel space. They should not come into contact with the glass at any point.

I figured that hole was the one. My arms are too short to reach the hole. I gues I'll have to have a friend with long arms give me a hand.
