Early B Body turn signal switch discussion. Shee Mar SM102

I don't but the quote was from another member that did contact them. The power of sharing information.
Guys,

Just went through this exercise myself. Found a NOS Switch (got lucky) and notice the spades on the ends. I took out the old switch and cut the original wires (did not distrub the original connector under the dash at all, so as to not risk damage and the connection was good and still working when the old switch quit) right at the switch. this left the original wires still in the steering wheel. I then took the new switch and taped at the spades together and taped this bunch to the old wires still in the tube. I used those wires to pull the new ones through by grabbing the wires under the dash and in front of the old connectors. Worked like a charm! I then bought some spades/connectors and put a new or second set of connectors in between the old and the switch. Worked great and little risk to the delicate old setup.

Hope this helps someone someday!

Jeff
