Apparently Ed Asner has passed away at the age of 91. I guess that's a good run.

Born: November 15, 1929

Hey, November 15 is also the same birth month and day as:

  1. Claus Philipp Maria Justinian Schenk Graf von Stauffenberg
  2. Johannes Erwin Eugen Rommel
  3. DeltaV :D

Didn’t the war end in 1945? If he’s 91 he would have been 15.

Found this @ The Stars & Stripes... "drafted in 1951. He served with the Army Signal Corps in France."

RIP Ed

When I saw that he was in the Army Signal Corps in Europe I mistakenly assumed WWII.

He got lucky/had connections going to Europe... 51 would have put him in the middle of the Korean "Conflict"
