Will an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake fit on a 383, edelbrock 750 cfm carb with a stock air cleaner in a 68 super bee without hood clearance issues? Thanks, I can only find info on the clearance issue with 440's

With my 440 it only cleared because of the Power-Bulge hood.

The low deck engines have a bit more top clearance than the RB's do....but not sure anymore just how much.

1969 Superbee with 426W and stock unsilenced aircleaner and power bulge hood:

1) Stock lowrise manifold and AFB--fit perfect
2) Edelbrock Performer manifold and Competition Series carb--fit perfect
3) Edelbrock Torker manifold and Competition Series carb--had to trim one of the power bulge trim attachment pricks to clear.

Without an airfilter it should fit. I had the RPM intake and Holley carb on the 440 in my '69 Coronet. The airfilter is the issue. I changed hoods to one with a scoop, but I think with the 383 and a deep drop filter base, it may clear?

Dennis do you have the insulation piece on the bottom of the hood or no?

Are you going by measurements or have you tried this actual setup?

Yes, the cheapie not the molded one. You mean the pad right?

It will only fit with a drop[ air cleaner
