I've got a chance to buy some used stock 88cc Edelbrocks that have had 200 passes and some valve seat damage but have been professionally repaired for around $800.

but then I was thinking for another $100 bucks I could just go with the 440source heads that are brand new...

anybody have any suggestions?

depends on flow numbers. while i got your attention theres a small car show at the kc hall in rosenberg this weekend. i,ll have some friends there. my machinist bud and damon may be there.

ahh man that'd be great to go to but i've gotta work all weekend.
thanks for the heads up though!

thought i,d get a chance to meet ya. they,re always the mopar show and race

i,d buy the eddies if he,d let me pressure test them first

IMO the stealths are pretty much a copy of the eddy head. I believe that Modern Machine uses the same CNC program to port both heads, that's how close they are. If it was me I would want the 84cc chamber that the stealths offer and I like the way they look similar to stock (sleeper vibe).
On the other hand, you need to pay attention to the head gasket fire ring hanging into the chamber on the 440 source heads (a quick search on Moparts will tell you what gasket to use) and then you have the whole buy USA thing...
I'd still go with the stealths.....
