I would like to get your opinion on which cut outs you are using. I have TTI headers on a 70 Road Runner and a 440. The engine has been dynode at 700 HP. I was thinking about getting a pair of electric cut outs, but I have no idea what works well and what is considered junk. Is there anyone running these that can lend some expertise to a novice? Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.

good question, although i don't make near that kind of power, i want to put a set on mine just because they sound cool! looking forward to see the replies

QTP's. Reliable for more than 10 years. Most fun push and hold toggle ever.
Lousy picture, but wanted to mention that I put Bully megaphones behind the Quick Time Performance cutouts. Without them, it was a more aggressive raspy (angry) sound. To do again, would not use them. With a higher compresion car they are ourtight Bitchin.

I have TTI 2" headers with the Quick Time Performance (QTP) 3" cutouts spliced into the reducer (3.5" to 3"). Perfect fit, so it's almost like running pure open headers.

Thank you for your replies. I will look into both of those cutouts. If anyone else is using something they like, please feel free to chime in. Have a blessed evening!

I read a couple of the reviews that said the butterfly is too thin for high HP motors. The butterfly will bend to an open position. My question to you is, can the butterfly be changed out to a more sturdy material? Again thanks for your time.

Define "high HP"

The reply just said theirs bent due to high velocity. I took it to mean high HP. Either way I would not want to buy this product to find out it fails with my set up. On the other hand, if the butterfly can be replaced with a more stout material, I would buy it knowing that if it failed, I can fix it with minimal effort.

I've had mine on for two years now, and my motor is no slouch, with no issues.

415 RWHP here. No problems.

Last night someone suggested that I should look at the DMH Performance cut outs. Their butterfly is made of a thicker material. I contacted a buddy of mine who is using a cutout on his mustang, I am waiting to hear what kind it is and what his opinion is on this topic. Has anyone heard of the DMH Performance brand? I will keep you posted.
