Blade, same sh!t happened to me maybe 2 years ago. Been off ever since and couldn't be happier.

Now if I want to check my friends' status... I call them and ask how they're fu$&in doin.

Wanna know how I'm doin? Come over and drink a beer with me and I'd be happy to tell ya. F&ck facebook.

:lol:Tizzeach, For the most part I go on to see my cousins in Cali and my kids and grandkids.Found a shitload of MOPAR pages also. Alot of posting over there to follow!
Funny thing that I have over 2500 friends on FB, 1/4 of them must be aliases.I might have about 150 people I know personally.
 
Spoke with Better Business Bureau a moment ago, They have contacted facebook in my behalf.
We'll see if BBB sway will make my page disappear.
Yep, FBBO is the ONLY social media i will do from this point on.

Hemi,,,,,,You were correct about the 199.00 to deactivate being a scam. Attention Everybody.....
Facebook has NO Telephone customer support!! ALL correspondenc regarding Any matter must be done on line!!
Any phone numbers for facebook customer support that turn up in a search engine are SCAMMERS.
This info came from facebook through the Better Business Bureau. Peace Folks

Go back through the thread and see how many guys (Fellow forum members, team-mates) have tried to convey this message to you.
Yup, it's a SCAM
Your account was simply "hacked" as the fellow forum members have been telling you all along
It is a very common occurrence on Facebook.
One good point to realize on this forum Jimi is that many individuals here are very talented, knowledgeable with Computing, Computer Science, Information technology.
Basically, the forum is here to help you...let them help!

Yeah, but the account is still locked, i cant log on & in order to Delete i have to produce multiple documentation, which i have done, through the BBB.
The Woman @ BBB Whom i have been on phone twice with now, digs the blade sculptures.....She had no problem figuring out the name Bladecutter. Facebook profiling is what it comes down to..any excuse to data mine..my politik is not far enough left for the dweebs. Eff zuckerburg.

Holy Hannah, what a freaking ordeal getting unhooked from FB has been. After bringing the BBB & the EFF,,Electronic Frontier Foundation,, in on it & having to provide multiple forms of ID, through BBB, i think FB has finally capitulated to deleting my account & page. Last time i sign up for shat on line.
Want to read some real Orwellian crap...scan FB terms & policies....a nightmare.

LMAO.....yeah, my expired CDL, my New ID(the two health ins cards under medi-cal), a AAA auto club card & a piece of mail to current address from Cali Dept of Health Services. I taped over all sensitive numbers. Holy crap, if it wasnt for the cancer, i may have never gotten them to delete!
Yeah, i think i went back on the grid just by signing up to facebook.

After scanning the Orwellian terms & policies, & the message that i would be 'deleted according to applicable laws', im not left in much doubt.
