four speed problems

my superbee falls out of third into neatral and will want to grind slightly if revs are up when going into third... is this clutch? linkage? or transmission?

Probably the teeth on the third gear gear itself are worn.

I would guess your brass synchronizer ring for third gear is bad. If it just has this problem in that gear it will not be your clutch. I would also double check my shifter linkage is properly adjusted and that you are going all the way into third gear. You could put it into third with the shifter, then pull the rod off at the shifter lever on the trans and see if the lever will move more into gear or if it was all the way in gear.
