At the oldest Homecoming game. She made Sgt this year in AFROTC and the Color Gaurd.
She got to carry the Lone Star tonight for the national anthem. So very proud of her!

Yup, some kids I think get it, some have no clue...
The last couple of years shes read a lot about WWII and the concentration camps Auschwitz, Treblinka...my grandparents are from Poland so I guess it was important to her to learn about her heritage and what it took to liberate them.
I've always made a big deal or tried to, when we would see a police officer, fireman to tell them thank you and to be safe, vets in or out of uniform even more so. They still do it today which make me so very proud because I know their understanding of the flag is deeper than I've could have hoped. They understand what price has been paid to fly those colors .
Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Yesterday the school hosted the AFJROTC annual completion, my daughter competed in 2 of the 3 events.
Her Flight earned 2nd place in exhibition unarmed drill.
I'm a very proud of the work she put in, she had 2 days to learn the routine, she worked so hard, they all did! She's on the right holding the trophy in the beret.
Wish I knew how to post the video...
