put rebuilt tranny in my 72 charger with reman torque convertor, was dry when I installed it, do I need to pull it back out and fill it or will it fill when I start up the motor, any answers? thanks for the help

Put 4 quarts in the tranny then fire it up. It will fill on its own. Then finish filling it up, if you put more then 4 quarts in before you start it the fluid will run out of the vent on the top of the case.

thanks 57 appreciate the help

Fill us in "what are your plans". Looks like a pretty solid car.

it needs to be in neutral when you start it,ebrake on & foot on brake pedal.

Charger looks great. With those deep dish rims and wide tires, it gives it that stock car look kinda.

As soon as the engine starts turning the transmission begins pumping fluid. Just let if idle for a while and before you know it the torque converter will be full and you'll need to check/add more fluid as stated by a previous poster.
