Just bought a 1974 Roadunner, trying to relive my youth I guess. In the past had a 1969 Satelite, and a 1973 Satellite Sebring Plus with the 400 power everything. Missed it so much had to get a 74 Runner. I know they are not as powerfull as the late sixties but just love the body style. My first issue is finding a right manifold for 400 engine. Cracked on the last rear ear. Has anyone had any luck welding these? This one seems hard to find. Came without a heat riser this year. Would like to keep it original.

Mopar's are so much fun...

Thanks for the warm welcome..

Here she is...(See below) Found a manifold. Now like others the dreaded bolt removal. So far 4 of the six broke loose easily. The problem ones are second from the rear (Long stud) and the third from the rear (Looks like it should be the long stud?) That one is either broken off and a bolt inserted (Cannot see in there) pinky feels a bolt I think. Will have to find a thin wall socket. Have any of you come across this? Keeping it soaked with the new WD40 Blue torch. Not in a hurry as winter closing in. I may need to bring it to the shop in the spring If I cannot get it off? I don't want to break a stud and get in more trouble Not enough room to work in there. I don't want to put headers on, and want to keep it original as possible. One other problem is the drivers side outer headlight seems to burn out. I put a new one in and only had it on a couple of times, total of five minutes and it burned out. Guess I should check the voltage. Guess these things are to be expected on a 40 year old car. 40 years is that possible? Wow... I remember thinking this body style was so modern after the sixties square bodies.
