Got some color in the engine bay

We’re all waiting to see that engine compartment all sanded and polished Bobtile.
That’s a pretty shiny clear on there. Wondering what brand clear is that.
I'm a flip-flopper.
Decided to skip the wet sanding in the engine compartment and start putting stuff back on.

I don't know why the pictures are showing so red.
It doesn't look anything like the pictures in person.

Thanks, I’m not familiar with that product. Very glossy. Will have to research it.
Bobtile what gun and tip did you use for it.

Malex
It's a cheap harbor freight gun.
1.8 for the primer and 1.4 for the color and clear.
This was a test run to see if I felt comfortable painting the whole car.
I'm not completely comfortable but I'm going to give it a shot. If it comes out like garbage, I can always have it re-done when I get get some money...

Excellent. Halfway there.
Maybe a quarter way there.
I haven't sprayed the doors, fenders, decklid, header panel, valance or bumper yet.
And still sanding the high build primer.

Another round of high build primer went on today...
More sanding later.

Has it been as hot with high humidity like hear in Pa. where you are? That can be challenge!
It's been hot here. Humidity luckily has been up and down. Not consistently humid.
I sprayed it this morning before the heat and wind.

I'm calling your HOA to stop that abhorrence of deadly fumes propagating throughout the neighborhood.
Unless you are using the new Covid killing formulation.
In that case carry on Bob.
