Headers Question

I have a 69 GTX with a 440 and am looking for the best fitting full length header. What been the best fit for everyone?

Here's another vote for TTI.

TTI's especially are good if you have any "B" big blocks (e.g. 383, 400). Since RB blocks like the 440 are taller, headers will fit differently, so just having "big block headers" often doesn't work well. TTI is one of the few companies that make different headers for B vs. RB engines. TTI headers are pricey, but in my opinion are well worth it.

Doug's are a very good fitting alternative for less money.

That seems a bit prematurely harsh, being he has only had 3 posts total before this one.

Let me add a twist to the topic. Why not stick with the exhaust manifolds from the factory. If you're not all out racing, they will be plenty and if you have to replace the starter, you will be happier.

If the guy is genuine then fine, but no normal people like being taken for a ride by some weirdo. Do you?

I just asked a question as I noticed some other posts by this new guy where he had a '68 Road Runner, then a 400 Cu in motor in something else, and his 440 '69 GTX.
4 posts, 3 different cars, no Welcome Wagon intro, no response to initial posts = Caution.
