Heater core 63 Polara

I bought a new heater core from Classic Industries and looks identical in every way except the heater valve opening is to big..the valve fits snug in the old one but is at least a 1/16 to big..I can't see Dodge using two different size heater control valves..HAS ANYONE RAN INTO THIS PROBLEM?

Send it back. As far as I know all the 62-65s used the same Ranco heater valve. If you have the old one send it to Glen Ray radiator to be recored, if not call Joe Suchy 770-964-4441 [email protected] for a reproduction.

Do you have correct or new O ring ?

I took my new and old one up to a rad shop and had them swap the tank on the one side so that is good but I do need a new O ring..anyone know the size LOL

Al, I remember this came up in a thread last year but wasn't easy to find. Here's what one member found when he measured the oring.
