Happy to be here. I’m restoring a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner that my Dad purchased new in 1969. He passed away in 2017 and the car was parked in 1989. I started working on it two months ago in September 2023. I finally got the engine running in late October. What a thrill to hear that roar! I used to drive it myself at 16 until I got my own 1971.

lots of work to do and a lot accomplished so far.

Great car and great story. Post some pics of your work in progress. If you have any back-in-the-day pics those would be great to see as well.

Welcome from New Zealand.

Thanks for the story and pics. A worthy car to restore, indeed.

Welcome, great project. WIth an even better back story.

Always love to hear how dad influenced a fella’s project.
You have all the right reasons to breathe life back into that B-body.
Greetings sir, and welcome to FBBO from NY!

Welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

cool story & cars

Thank you to all who’ve welcomed me. It’s great to be around fellow B body lovers and I look forward to the conversation. My biggest hurdle so far has been electrical, specifically the instrument cluster but finally have it going. All led lighting everyw in the car. Got some ideas from FBBO too.
