Help please, what are these?

I’m new to hemi’s and not sure what the 2 tubes are for. They run from the exhaust up above the flywheel area both connecting to the engine.

They provide the heat to the intake manifold and therefore the carb(s) so the engine will warm up quicker. Without the heat the engine may run rough or stall until it gets warm. You have to keep it running.
