How do you seal your exhaust manifolds/headers ?

I used the felpro kit gaskets with the manifolds without leaks on iron heads. The new Dougs headers came with gaskets that sealed fine on the new alum heads (so far so good!)

Aluminum heads/TTI headers... Remflex there and also at the collectors. Can't stress enough how great they work. Also can't stress enough how fragile they are and they can crack if you drop them or fondle them too roughly..then they blow out as soon as you start your engine.

I'm fairly certain the factory didn't use gaskets.
I didn't put anything on my 318/manifolds when I put it back together and it's fine.

For old school headers I used to cut the flange between each end pipe and the center set.
This allows a MUCH better seal on any gasket you use.

Standard Fell Pro with manifolds, no leaks, with headers, only Remflex.
They are the best but fragile.
