I use the phone exclusively. That and my phat fingers have caused a couple of inadvertent big red X’s every now and again.

Cell phone only when have to,like being off

No such thing as a hardline in these parts anymore.Everything is though the cable companies Now when there is a blackout there is no phone at home and the cell towers go down ,,,,,,,,,,,,so,no phone at all.Break out the CB radio in the truck
