HP manifolds

What's the difference between HP exhaust manifolds and the regulars on the 440hp/383hp engines? I have a set of 2532464/2463107 manifolds and would like to use them, what can be done to get them up to par woththe HP manifolds? Are these worth using on a mild mild 440 street engine or should I just find a pair of the HP's?

By regulars you mean logs? The HP manifolds are streamlined to promote better flow and that would be my choice if you don't want to run headers. The general rule is almost anything will work at low RPM but if you want a nice street engine you should have something that reduces the back pressure at high RPM. The ultimate would be equal length tuned primaries into a collector.
