Some replacements got an extra thin gauge black wire which must be removed. This is because some pieces began to be a generic replacement available to all cars and needing just to match to your one.
the ones pictured seems to get the black wire I'm talking about because I can see the cavity with the small terminall in it, which I dunno what exactly is its function. That cavity uses to be the gear selector lighting source on steering column shifter cars up to 74
well it seem you should be getting an instructions sheet to match your car setup...
there is visible the thing gauge wire I'm talking about... and on graphics there is a legend over the wire I'm talking about what takes to read a note... somewhere in the instruction sheet I guess
