They're all for driving!!! But #1 Wife will sure be able to park the Dart easier than the Bird when out grocery shopping !!
Why in the name of all that is holy do you not have a RAM??Well two miserable days in a row of highways not being suitable for a cross country and stuck here plowing wet mashed potato snow, but tomorrow is finally road trip time. I'm not waiting any longer! Ready to go at first light...

I use that trivia nugget all the time. No 340 ever came in a 2 barrel carb!. It is an awesome engine!Trivia time: Did you know the 340 was the only engine of that era besides the hemi that was developed strictly for performance applications from the get-go?
Who put the Mustang Fastback vents in the C pillar?I have 2 x E's, 2 x B's and an A. I've thought a number of times about letting the A go (needs full build) but every time I see pictures of one I rethink it.

Bought a 97 Ram diesel in 2001 and still haven't done anything to it except for making sure the KDP was done...and it wasn't and was still ok but did the fix anyways and replaced the water pump while in there. Did replace the rear gears but I probably caused the original 3.54's to go bad doing burnouts with it lol. The 'lost and not going to find her' X still has the ordered new 2000 Durango with 5.2/3.92 geared limited slip with trailer tow package and fully loaded last I heard. Put new front pads on it @ 90k miles just before she left (just rolled over 100k) but the rears still looked good. She was always hard on brakes and this was the first vehicle that held up to her wretched driving style....Last Dodge "truck" was the Wife's Durango.. I wouldn't touch another with a ten foot pole. Third F150 I've had over 17 years, nothing other than oil changes and brake pads and rotors.
(Haha, Hemi's didn't either. Can you imaging a Hemi with a 2 barrel carb on it! )
I should have been more specific (although I'd have thought it obvious)...Not true...

I got my fill of Fords in the mid-70s when I had my fleet of 5 Mustangs! Dang some crazy stuff broke on those cars. One car the pedal rack came apart twice before I fixed it my way after the second time. The first time I fixed it was with so-called genuine Ford replacement parts. Things can get pretty wild quickly after going through the gears and on your last shift the pedal rack collapses on you sideways and then you get no brakes either or very little after standing on the pedal with both feet and bend the steering wheel with your arms trying to apply all the pressure you can to the brake!Right on.
Speaking of "17 years"... ol' Bert here has been with me that long without so much as
a whimper (2004 Ram SLT 4x4 hemi - in a fairly rare short bed/cab version):

Honestly, Ford hasn't made anything I'd trust in like 20 years now.
It sure is pretty. I'm jelly...or however the kids say it.Thanks! Nope, been an Ontario car for a long time. Restored / paint 10 years ago.
My dad had one of those. Guess who got to keep the dang thing running? Yep...Won't let a Ford on the property except my 48 8N... My father was a Ford guy and I had to work on them, thus cannot stand them...
Ready to go at first light...
