That means the bearing preload is adjusted with shims so, a seal R&R is easy. Pull the yoke off (probably need a 2 jaw puller) and work around the seal with a small chisel until it pops out, install the new seal, install the yoke and torque to 250#s.

I’ve been watching some videos that mention new sleeves when changing the seals. You think these rears have that problem?
