just asking....413/ .30 over...=426

Bigger bore & longer stroke always make more power.

it is .030 Over ....I want to use 906 heads and an intake (so I can close the hood)...and a larger carb...(i have a 610 weber)...the t 10 will stay 'till I blow it up...355's in rear

keep in mind if you start playing with any 413 / 426 bores your getting into the world of very expensive pistons since there's nothing off the shelf & for what your going to spend on pistons I'd personally build a nice cheap 440 or 400 & have fun

Have you been a good boy and Santa has some engine presents for you, or is your brother giving you some lip about how much power his RR makes? The frugal mechanic would just leave it alone but in the end your decision.
E, you know what I am thinking...it's scary!......thanks for the advise. ............................

I want to go fast!..buy another car to pound on?

I am thinking another car to pound on if you can find it reasonably. Your Belvedere is to nice to make into a pounder. Next thing you will have to add frame connectors to your car and then the trans will give up the ghost, etc.

so many cars on Craigslist for cheap during the holidays as ppl liquidate to buy Xmas presents. It's damn tempting but I have too many already. 65 B's seem plentiful on the east coast this season, I saw a good one for about 8k ill see if I can dig it up.

If you want to change rides, you can't go wrong with a '65 Coronet or Belvedere. They accept big motors, & headers, Dana's and are easy to modify. Good luck.

Went 10.60's with 906 heads. Yeah, they were ported to the max, big (for the day) cam, light weight pistons and plenty of gear. How fast do you want to go with it?

Cranky,How fast?, so the fart can box kid down the street will not embarrass me,,,and yes you are correct i can beat the V6 mustangs, lol
just askin' if I bolt on the 906=2.08 / 1.74...., 750dp,.. & Indy dual plane ?...
.right now I have (heads)=2206324..2.08 / 1.60......

..

Don't believe I know what your combination is on that car. The larger valves would help for sure. Is your 750 a DP? If you have one laying around, you might even try an 850 base plate on the 750. The throttle plates are 1/16th bigger on the 850 plate vs the 750. It usually increases your throttle response and top end. Your heads are closed chamber, right? The 906's are open chamber so you'll be losing some compression but an exhaust valve that's .140 bigger along with the larger ports can help a lot vs the loss of compression. A cam change to better suit the new combination may be in order too....

Super-bee_ski loves Sonny's car
Super-bee_ski thinks spending money for more speed is A-OK if that is what Sonny wishes!

When is enough enough?
That is the question....

Keep us informed

I have '61,'62- 413 heads, I will keep them, I will keep the intake, I will get rid of the 600 weber,(for now and put a 750DP Hol) on it for a little more fun & should be ok with the BW-T10 & 355's...end of story (for now)....maybe I can beat a V6....lol....

I want a--- GTX/ RR / S bee / R/T .....to pound on!

Choose your replacement heads carefully. A little pocket porting works wonders. A 750 DP is a really flexible carb that doesn't seem care much what the cu inches are.

Sonny:realcrazy: is going' with the heads that are on it! ----> 2206924 ./2.08/-/1.60/...413 CID...... with the 282/484 P.S., Cam/....3.55;s rear........the 4 speed, A 750 DP should do well............also, TTI headers & 3'in H pipe into flowmasters, stock rear tail pipes.......Mopar Orange ECU Box Ignition...etc

will replace heads & intake another time...
