Do an image search on your browser (Google, Bing, Yahoo, whatever) there are tons of images of red 73-4 RR's out there. You need to see them in person - go to the lots (if not going original) and shopping centers and if you spot the red you want - get the model/year and look up the paint code on line. Theres been some nice reds over the last few years .........
Unless its the same color Ralph, ill believe that one.. There is so many colors and shades that its got to be a hard decision with all of them now a days..
Is it just me or do you guys with FE5 color cars sometimes think your Red is a bit orange? I know there is orange pigment in the paint mix, but is messing with me! LOL
Anyway, decided to pull the trigger and go with FE5, even did a spray sample on a part before making the final decision, but she goes to paint next week!!!!!!
Here is my sample spray it looks red here, but in the sun i see the orange stand out a little bit.
I have seen a hint of orange in a picture or two.. just a hint now and again.. like this one on right of header panel, but very seldom and more from a glare like this..
You haven't lost it yet! lol. I think a lot of reds do it, funny though you really don't see it in the car except for a "glare" type thing, or i don't!
