movie "Dirt" from the mid 60s - early 70s
Offroad & early MX, or hill clime/motorcycle races,
swamp buggies, mud/sand drags, desert races,
lots of Baja 1000 stuff near the end
more of a documentary format (sort of) with a goofy Commentator
& a few characters
lots of Roger Decoster (spell ?), Parnelli Jones & Walker Evans footage etc.

"Bad Company" early mid 70's FC racers
Malcolm Smith (?) main character & a younger guy trying to compete
he's learning the ropes & dirty back door deals
in (F/C) Fuel Coupe, 2 trucks & trailer rigs, racing all across Canada (IIRC)
1 low-buck rig & 1 tractor-trailer rig hi-$$$ (Malcolm Smith)
racing for an, on the take & corrupted promoter/oil sponsor
trying to strongarm them & acting like a puss hound,
played by John Saxon,
a few nice women, some cool old racecars & race scenes
(some cheesy 70s stuff too)

Leroy Hastings the hero drives a staunch '70 Roadrunner 4sp, and it's the Mob or Hit-men that try to drive a '70 Charger :)
Just got a new DVD in the mail this week after being scammed by the first seller. A very hard to get movie. I've been trying for 10 years to replace my old worn out VHS copy.
