I've posted this question here before but can't seem to find it in the archive searches.

Other than the softest Terry cloth towels recommended for the job, which brand of cleaner and polish is best for Lexan glass maintenance?

I used Plexus and a virgin (never used) microfiber towel for cleaning. Polishing is different. Look in aviation catalogs for that. Tend is one brand. There are several grades. Don't get the most abrasive. It's has way too much grit for us.

I used to use Dawn Liguid dish detergent soap & warm water
clean water, distilled so it won't water-spot on my racecars
& a brand new microfiber cloths, never a used one
get a different one if need be don't skimp on the new microfibers

also Maguires used to sell a polish to clean scratches, in Lexan products/plastic,
don't remember the exact name of it
got to be really careful
don't over heat it or press to hard will warp &/or scratch it easily

Novus (I think that's how it's spelled) was another brand of Lexan cleaner

here's the from the sources; directly from the horse's mouth

Some guys I knew used a wax without polishing compounds
like a Raindance or old paste wax like Turtle Wax IIRC
I'm weary of any chemicals on Lexan, **** it is temperamental
or any brand of wax that didn't have any abrasives/cutting compounds in it
be soft still, not much pressure either, do it by hand, take your time

use new microfiber cloths, not used 'ever' or never 'washed or dried ever' even
or it will scratch, believe me been there done that

not sure why that link didn't work, from US Plastics

Here are some options. These work very good.
