Looking for suggestions on what equipment to use to move some classic vehicles.

11! That'll keep you busy. You'll have to post up photos when you get a chance.

Are these cars in ND?

Just a wild question.....

I once inquired about a car in ND but the potential seller wouldn't come down from what I thought was more than double the worth.

If one of your cars happens to be a white 66 Coronet 440 383 car with PW and AC.........

Yes in ND. No coronets for sale, I'd like to find one myself. There is a 66/67 charger body with no engine, trany or suspension/axles. Hard to tell what condition the body is in with all the snow.

You need one of these... Should make the job quick & easy...

Thank you. Just looked at them today, lots of snow to deal with. Right now I made a deal on 11 of them, maybe more.
Well I'm guessing you just got yourself scratched off the Christmas card list of all your neighbors..

make friends with someone with a tow truck :poke:
or a nice rollback rig
I wonder if there's any place you could rent one ?

I wish Al lived out here...
I could have used his services a couple times...

IMHFO
if you're going to do 11 vehicles
buy a good winch, cables straps & chains tie-downs :blah:
it'll be well worth the $$$ spent, for far less hassles & lifting/grunt work
maybe even buy a decent open trailer, a dovetail style will help with the loading
put some lumber down to help protect it if need be
(at the price of lumber today, find old used lumber)
also be money well spent

have/use vehicles with the proper type of tires to get in & out too
not smooth whimpy *** street tires
for snow/mud no doubt after a few get drug away/around
be a mess

get some good mud & snow tires,
maybe even cables-chains/or mud/AT or spiked tires for the rig
pulling them out

rent a Bobcat/skid-steer maybe

I did pickup a new winch. Also looking into the local tow truck guy. Still way too much snow to see what I'll be dealing with.
thanks

Yes, I was going to suggest a tow truck. Best bet. All the other suggestions are valid also.

Use a separate vehicle with a 10,000lb
winch and a snatch block to double
your pulling power. I've loaded quite
a few barn finds using just a regular
cheap *** car trailer. Many of the
vehicles recovered, the hubs were
locked up w/rust. 20,000lbs of
pulling power can load just about
anything. Multiple trips for more
than one car, worth the added time
and effort. I moved 13 cars using
this method at one time period.
